Shipping and Hot Weather Policy

Current Covid-19 Impacts

  • Most parcels are arriving on time, but delays may be experienced. Our operations are being affected by very high numbers of COVID-19 cases in the community.
  • On any given day members of the third party delivery company are in self-isolation.
  • Their parcel processing facilities may be affected by temporary closures.
  • State border closures and COVID-19 related airline or truck disruptions mean there are fewer flights or truck drivers available to transport parcels and this may cause longer delivery times.

 

At Red Cacao our aim is to process, pack and dispatch all orders as swiftly as possible. We dispatch daily, Monday through Thursday. However, demand can sometimes peak unexpectedly and we therefore will ship at our next convenience.

We use the Express Post service of Australia Post for most deliveries as well as APD couriers for SA orders. We currently only deliver to addresses within Australia but can organise international delivery on a case by case basis.

We have also chosen not to dispatch on Fridays to avoid increasing the time your order may be in transit and exposed to extremes in temperature. For this same reason we reserve the right to hold your order in our temperature controlled facility if we have concerns about the weather causing damage to your order.

When there are no specific delivery instructions given, Australia Post will be instructed to return your order to the nearest post office or depot to collect if no one is present to receive the delivery. Please be aware that Australia Post or their representatives make the final decision in these cases and we cannot guarantee product will not be left unattended at the given delivery address. Please make sure you arrange a delivery location where someone will be available to receive your order.

In-store pickup: Pickup will be available after 36hrs from time of order from Stirling and Mount Barker subject to opening times.  You will be required to bring a copy of your order email when collecting to present to staff. You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
